Park Camp-out Who: Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelos Scouts & Families, and Bring a Friend
to Recruit for next year.
Where: Brundage Park near the fishing pond. When: Set-up 5-6 pm Friday evening until about 12 pm on Saturday. What: Camping, Fishing, Hiking and Cub Scout fun. Camping - Rules and Packing Guidelines.
Kinderfest Who: All Cubscouts of Pack 166 Where: Flanders Swim and Sports Club 72 Emmans Road Flanders, NJ 07836 973-584-9790 Gina Lamm would like to let all parents know that this years’ Kinderfest / Scout Field Day is open to all pack members and friends. This is a fun day of running, jumping, throwing and games held for kids of all age groups. No child goes home empty handed and they will sleep well in the evening. Lunch will be provided.Gina is running a Kids and Adult tricky tray event prior to the presentation of the day’s awards. Gina would like to request tricky tray donations such as gift cards, toys for a boy or girl, movie cards, etc. Gifts should be dropped off at 1329 Sussex Turnpike. (greenrose@optonline.net) Half the proceeds from the Tricky Tray will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in support of Christy Morganstein’s Ride for the Cure (http://ride.jdrf.org/). Contests: Running, tossing, obstacle course, we’ve got games for all the kids to enjoy. Children compete against each other or team up with boys and girls in their age group. Everyone’s a winner at KINDERFEST. Picnic: Watermelon, corn, burgers and hot dogs. Cost: All ages $10 (admission, food and a sheet of raffle tickets) Tricky Tray: Please donate youth-oriented prizes. (Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Juvenile Diabete Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk to a Cure at County College of Morris
Help support fellow scout, Isaac Morganstein, as he raises money for Type 1 Diabetes. Isaac has had Type 1 Diabetes since age 2. Every year he and his family participate in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes. Please join Isaac and his family on walk day and help raise money for JDRF. Donate/Register at walk.jdrf.org Sunday, October 10th Check-in is 9 am - 10 am.
